About NextGen

Because the IAOMS helps members build their careers and the OMF profession, in 2017, the association created the NextGen Council, geared toward developing young surgeons.

Among the many IAOMS NextGen initiatives:

• webinars designed specifically for NextGen and presented by senior OMF surgeons
• webinars co-presented by a NextGen and senior OMF surgeon
• monthly quizzes — test your knowledge

Two representatives from each major region sit on the Council, chaired by Dr. Henry Garcia (Venezuela), with Vice Chair, Dr. Salvatore Crimi (Italy) and Committee Advisor Dr. Alfred Lau (Hong Kong SAR, China).
