To strengthen the profession by ensuring the sustainability and growth of the Foundation’s programs. Each year, we have a robust number of applicants looking for a chance to learn and grow as surgeons. With additional financial support, we can expand the number of opportunities afforded to oral and maxillofacial surgeons seeking to broaden their horizons.
The Foundation has invested more than $1.3 million to expand education and research within the OMFS specialty. In 2019 alone, the Foundation provided nearly $125,000 in financial support through its Fellowship, Visiting Scholars, and ICOMS Scholarship programs. Additional resources were used to facilitate Gift of Knowledge trainings in Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Myanmar.
Gifts at any level are appreciated and welcomed. As you consider your personal commitment, think about the impact IAOMS has had on your career, the specialty, and patients globally.
All donors will be recognized for their support regardless of the amount. Donors will be acknowledged on the IAOMS website, in an e-blast to IAOMS members, and other applicable Foundation materials.
