Rupa Brosseau, IAOMS Director, Named Association Forum's Forty Under 40

Rolling Meadows, IL - December 17, 2015 - Rupa Brosseau, Director of Development and Education for IAOMS and the IAOMS Foundation, was recognized as Forty Under 40 honoree this week by The Association Forum of Chicagoland and USAE weekly newspaper.


The "Forty Under 40" Awards recognizes 40 up-and-coming association or nonprofit professionals who are under the age of 40, demonstrate high potential for success in leadership roles, and exhibit a strong commitment to the association management profession.

"Rupa represents the next generation of leaders in the field of association management. She is dedicated to advancing her knowledge and skills and is self-driven. We are extremely proud of her passion and commitment to our association, our members, and foundation, but most of all to have her as part of our team," said Pierre D├ęsy, MPH, CAE, Executive Director of IAOMS and the IAOMS Foundation.

As the Director of Development and Education, Ms. Brosseau works closely with members of the oral and maxillofacial surgeon international community to provide online education in three different languages as well as works with constituents to raise funds for the IAOMS charitable arm, the IAOMS Foundation. She is recognized for several accomplishments including, developing a new online education platform called IAOMS eLearning for members to hone their surgical skills as well as exceeding the Foundation's fundraising goal by 30% in 2014.

Ms. Brosseau has twelve years of association management experience, including roles of increasing responsibility in marketing, membership, development and education. Before joining the association, she served as the Director of Development and Engagement for the American Veterinary Medical Foundation (AVMF) as well as serving as the Marketing Manager for the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). She is also actively involved in the association community serving as a volunteer for the Association Forum of Chicagoland's Holiday Showcase Program Advisory Committee.Ms. Brosseau holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Management from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a concentration in Entrepreneurial Studies.
