Formed in 2011 as the Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief Program (HADR) and renamed in 2015 to the Committee on Global Surgery, COGS is committed to providing a platform for oral and maxillofacial surgeons to contribute to the volunteer effort associated with natural disasters.
